I went to Philly last year and asked the locals if I should go to Genos or Pats and I got some crazy looks. They told me these were the places with the big budgets but not with the best Cheese-steaks! I took their word for it and found in my opinion the greatest food creation since humanity came to existance.
Not sure what street its on - I just know that the lineup wraps around the shop for a reason. Jim's Steaks in Philly provides you with a must have cheese-steak! If you're gonna try it out...make sure you try it with extra "Whiz"! It will blow you away..
Make mine Pat's "with". Thanks. It's been way too many years since I've had one.

Jim's is on South Street. It's delish! And they are so nice there.

Delesandro's in Rocksborough is my favorite. Pat's and Geno's are for the tourists - or if you need a steak at 3 AM.
ReplyDeletePat's... all the way. Jim's isn't bad but given the wait and the classic nature, Pat's is the champ.
