Denver's Best Wine Bars

1. Vines Wine Bar & Tapas

Owned by two certified sommeliers, this wine bar serves tapas and carries over 85 bottles of wine.

Tips: Check out the online calendar of weekly events going on. Keep in mind that there is an open-mic night every Thursday and live music, Wednesdays through Saturdays.


2. The Village Cork
1300 S Pearl St, Denver, CO
Charming, romantic Washington Park wine bar woos connoisseurs with fine vintages.
Tips: Can’t decide on one wine in particular? Go for the flights ($10 for three) to sample a variety of selections.

3. Paris Wine Bar
1549 Platte St, Denver, CO
Dimly lit, relaxing wine bar done up in light woods and burgundy hues serves dozens of wines, plus cheeses and other light appetizers.
Tips: The bar holds wine tastings the third Monday of every month, plus occasional live music performances.

4. Trios Enoteca

A wine bar with all the elements for a romantic evening in the city.
Tips: Trios is a cigar bar, so be prepared for smoke in the air. Also, reservations are not accepted.

5. Bistro Al Vino

Savor elegant wines and martinis with sophisticated small plates in this laid-back Centennial bar.
Tips: Ladies night is every Tuesday, featuring French bubbly from $3 a glass and 8-ounce cosmos for $5.

Tips: The sprawling wine list has the most outrageously priced bottles in Colorado ($5,999 frees the ’24 Rothschild from the safe).

Wine shop in Centennial sells wine by the bottle, the batch or by the glass.
Tips: The shop can create a personalized label to put on a bottle for you.
